It has been a less than a year since we re-christened the New York Metropolitan Chapter’s Website. We would like to give special thanks to our Website Committee who earned a Silver Standard for excellence this past year. Their commendation was well deserved. This has been a wonderful enhancement for the Chapter. Many of you were registering for classes before we ever sent out formal notices. And by using an on-line payment system we have made the process of paying for education and special events a seamless process for the volunteers who run the training classes. And I know first hand how difficult the manual process could be. We also used the opportunity to post daily reports from CACS last May and from the International Convention that was recently held in Toronto. Because of the response we will continue this type of reporting from  ISACA training events that our Board Members attend. We are in the process of discussing new initiatives that we can roll out on our website in the coming year, including allowing members to post questions and content. We invite our membership to explore our site and contact us with suggestions. And if you are so motivated, please consider working with our Website-Communications committee to not only share your ideas but work with us to build onto a great foundation and help us take our site to another level.
